Governor Andy Beshear appointed Sherry Murphy as a member of the Tourism Development Finance Authority for the state of Kentucky. Murphy is the Executive Director of the Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. |

The ranking is based on the number of projects won, and Bowling Green ranked second in total projects for metros among communities with populations less than 200,000 and ranked fourth in projects per capita. |
