SKYCTC To Host Cybersafe Summit

Be Proactive--Not Reactive.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will host a Cybersafe Summit on October 19, 2023 from 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM at their KATI Campus, 1127 Morgantown Road, Bowling Green, KY. The conference is free and open to the public. Topics will include phishing, strong passwords, password management, multifactor authentication, and software updates.

With an increasing number of users, devices, and programs in the modern enterprise, combined with the increased deluge of data, much of which is sensitive or confidential, the importance of cybersecurity continues to grow. The growing volume and sophistication of cyber attackers and attack techniques compound the problem even further.
