Med Center Health Announces 30th Annual Women In The Arts Exhibit



Med Center Health’s 30th annual Women in the Arts Exhibit is scheduled for March 20 through March 22. The exhibit will feature the work of female artists over 18 years old residing in Kentucky. Categories include painting, sculpture, ceramics, works on paper, fiber works and photography. The exhibit is open to the public on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, March 22 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The exhibit will be held in The Medical Center at Bowling Green Auditorium.

Awards include Special Purchase, Cash Merit, Honorable Mention, and ArtWorks Award. Each year, the exhibition committee and a juror select the Special Purchase Award. This artwork is purchased by and displayed at The Medical Center. Creating an atmosphere of safety and comfort is important for healing and recuperation. Consequently, artwork purchased by The Medical Center is intended to enhance a healing atmosphere.
