Katie Beard

Katie Beard is a Wealth Administrator for WealthSouth Concierge Financial Services and a lifelong member of the Bowling Green community. “It has always been my mission to give back,” she says. Katie says she is blessed to be able to do that both through civic engagement and her career. “The best part of what I do is working closely with my clients to help them reach their goals. Often times that is helping clients with their own philanthropic gifts and planning for their families’ futures.” Katie and the team at WealthSouth are able to do this since she and her fellow team members have grown up in Bowling Green, attended school here, served on charitable boards, and volunteered in the community. Not only do they help the community, but it allows them to make informed recommendations and decisions on behalf of their personal and business clients.

WealthSouth is locally committed, and Katie says that the success of their clients and the vitality of Bowling Green is important. “As Bowling Green continues to grow, I look forward to the energy that comes with new community members, businesses, and projects.” She says she hopes that she can continue to give back to the community because it has already given her so much.

Katie is involved in many organizations around town including Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky, The Women’s Fund of South Central Kentucky, The WKU Young Alumni Council, and the Alpha Delta Pi Advisory Board. “Our community has a unique spirit about it,” she says. “Sometimes you can’t put your finger on it, but I truly appreciate being able to witness this community come together when our friends and neighbors need it the most.”
