Briarwood Dental Welcomes Two New Dentists

Dr. Kevin Clemmons is proud to welcome new dentists, Derek Hayes and Sasha Hayes to Briarwood Dental. Derek and Sasha both graduated from Bowling Green High School where they fell in love and have been sweethearts since that time. They attended undergrad and graduate school in Louisville.

They both knew they wanted to go to medical school and had interest in dentistry, they completed internships in high school and college and decided they had found their passion. The thing Derek and Sasha love most about being dentists, is the opportunity to see their patients every 6 months and build ongoing relationships and friendships with them. Derek is enthusiastic about making a difference in Bowling Green through his career and community.

Sasha plans to continue her research and focus on cosmetic dentistry as much as possible. After graduation, they moved to Myrtle Beach and were married in 2017. Just over a year later, they found out they were pregnant with their daughter, Naomi and made the decision to move closer to home and be closer to both of their families.

It was a long term goal for the two to work together, but this opportunity to be back in Bowling Green and work in the same environment, was a dream come true.
