ELPO Law Attorney Brett Reynolds Named President of the Kentucky Land Title Association Board of Directors

The Kentucky Land Title Association (KYLTA) installed ELPO Law attorney Brett Reynolds as President of its Board of Directors for 2023. Reynolds was subsequently sworn in as President at the association’s annual meeting held in Louisville, KY on November 10th.

JA Inspire Virtual Career Fair Will Connect Students and Young Professionals Across Greater Kentucky to Local Employers and Educ

After a whopping success with more than 60 booths available for discovery last year, the JA Inspire Virtual is back for another round. The virtual career and higher education fair will take place from November 16, 2022, through May 16, 2023. The event is open to registrations for 8th - 12th grade students and young professionals ages 18-25 who want to explore their career and higher education options.

Service One Credit Union Announces Participation in New Apprenticeship Program

Two Barren County area high school students are participating in Service One Credit Union’s (SOCU) new Teller TRACK apprenticeship program.  Kelton Ladd, a junior, and Lauren Reeves, a senior, at BCHS were selected from among 5 applicants for the program. The students will work part-time at the Glasgow, KY branch during their internship.

A Home for the Holidays

The holidays are a special time for Ken and Susan Skutnik and this time of year revolves around one main thing: family. So when the Skutniks moved to Bowling Green from Tennessee, and started to plan their new house, they knew they wanted a home that was functional, while still being inviting and relaxing, especially during the holiday season.

Hosparus Health needs volunteers to support local families

Hosparus Health of Barren River (HBR) is in need of volunteers in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren counties. With offices in Bowling Green and Glasgow, HBR provides hospice and palliative care to seriously ill patients and their families in their homes and healthcare facilities throughout its 10-county service area.

Targeted Business Awards Celebrates Businesses and Growth in South Central Kentucky

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce honored 16 businesses with awards at the annual Targeted Business Awards sponsored by PNC Bank. Envision AESC received the highest honor of the evening, the John B. Holland Business of the Year Award. The event was held at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKyPAC).
