Leann Phillips

South Central Bank
Vice President of Consumer Lending

Leann Phillips never thought banking would be her career. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile and Apparel Merchandising, but she started working at South Central bank at 16 years old and never left. She is now Vice President of Consumer Lending. “It has always been home,” she says. South Central Bank has been serving Bowling Green for 30 years. “To have that longevity and still growing says a lot, economically,” she says.

Leann adds that many people might be surprised to find that South Central Bank offers unique services like cell phone protection. “With the Green Tree Checking account, you can receive complimentary cell phone insurance for you and your family.” She says that South Central Bank holds traditional values but still enables change to suit customers’ needs.

Giving back to the community is important for Leann. She is a member of Chi Omega Sorority, and she is a United Way of Southern Kentucky Volunteer Committee member.
