Carla Vibbert

Carla Vibbert and her husband, Seth, opened the 100th Waxing the City Studio in August 2018 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The company was founded in Denver, Colorado in 2003.

“I love that waxing is really an ancient practice, but advances are recent and intentional with our brand. Waxing the City is known for our techniques designed for comfort and long lasting results,” says Carla, who is a WKU graduate and former high school teacher. She says that the wax itself is made uniquely for Waxing the City in Europe and is a game changer in client comfort.

Waxing the City offers convenient, retail hours in a relaxing, med-spa environment with a full menu of facial and body waxing, lash lifts, and lash and brow tinting, and high-end products.

Carla says that her company’s founders have the philosophy that women should be each other’s allies. “There are a number of successful business women in Bowling Green who gracefully balance that and family and still use their energy to support other women. So many women in Bowling Green have genuinely invested time and a desire to see my business succeed. Those are the women I love and respect,” she says.
