On November 13, 2020, the T.J. Community Mission Foundation hosted its first ever virtual STREAMATHON, presented by BAIRD Private Wealth Management. The virtual event was broadcasted on the T.J. Community Mission Foundation Facebook page and on local cable channels. STREAMATHON was a fun filled night with an old school feel while taking advantage of today’s technology. Viewers had the chance to participate by calling in to donate and share their story, and they were able to make donations in memory or in honor of family or friends, as well as an online auction that included over 55 donated items.

The fundraiser benefitted the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home, which is scheduled to open in late December. Located in close proximity to T.J. Samson Community Hospital, the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home is a specially designed and home-like hospice setting providing relief and peace of mind necessary to address end-of-life discussions and decisions.

Thanks to the support of our community and event sponsors, the T.J. Community Mission Foundation was able to raise over $85,000 for the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home! Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will be used to help “make this house a home”.
