Red Hot Evening

Story and photography by Billie Wilson

The Med Center Health Foundation hosted the 14th Annual Charity Ball on November 10th with the theme of A Red Hot Evening! Attendees arrived at Sloan Convention Center dressed their very best and enjoyed cocktail hour with friends while shopping the Silent Auction and waiting for the main event to begin.

Upon entering the Ballroom, guests were greeted with beautiful red flowers, bright lights and music by The Downtown Band. After a three course plated dinner, Auctioneer Stephen Stucy and his energetic team revealed a short film pumping up the excitement for the best live auction in town!

With BB&T as the presenting sponsor each year, the Med Center Health Foundation is able to host this black tie event and continue to run such an important service for South Central Kentucky. Other sponsors include Merrill Lynch, ELPO, Hodges Adams, Stengel Hill and many more! All funds raised from ticket sales and the silent and live auctions were directly to benefit the community health and dental clinics that provide services to those who are under insured or unable to afford health care.
