The Hill’s Pet Nutrition Fur Ball was held April 27th at Sloan Convention Center. This amazing, annual event is Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society’s largest fundraiser of the year. According to Lorri Hare, Executive Director, BGWCHS has had six Code Red events since July 2023. This event provides services for existing animals and new intakes, saving countless lives and helping the organization live out its mission, “to improve the lives of animals and people through advocacy, education and support.” Attendees enjoyed bidding on silent auction items during cocktail hour, sponsored by BMW of Bowling Green and Mercedes-Benz of Bowling Green, followed by a seated dinner and live auction, sponsored by Speedwash. The evening’s music was provided by 8 South Band and co-sponsored by Keith and Mandi Wells and Greer Bohannon. For the first time ever, folks could tune in to the Fur Ball from the comfort of their couches, thanks to the efforts of Sublime Media Group. To see what the BG/WC Humane Society has going on throughout the year or to see how you can help the shelter, visit bgshelterpets.com, or connect with the organization on its various social media pages.
