Free Car Seat Safety Check

Story and photography by Billie Wilson

Car Seat Safety Matters was established in Bowling Green in 2015 by Kinny Landrum and Misti Wilson. They held their 12th Free Car Seat Safety Check on September 29 at a local station of Bowling Green Fire Department. This event is a great way to start talking to parents about the importance of child seat safety. Each year, the volunteers and certified car seat safety technicians work diligently to check that car seats are properly installed replace recalled or improper seats.
