Bowling Green’s 40 Under 40: Maggie Tidwell
Story by Amelia Bowen
Whether she is crafting campaigns on the ground or taking to the skies, Bowling Green native Maggie Tidwell brings creativity and purpose to everything she does. As a Marketing Strategist for Med Center Health, Maggie combines strategic thinking with social media expertise to promote key service lines, strengthen audience engagement and elevate regional healthcare initiatives. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University before completing a master’s degree in management and leadership through Western Governors University. Maggie credits her leadership philosophy to her mother, who led by example in their family-owned business with integrity, hard work and a genuine spirit for helping neighbors in need. Maggie brings that same grounded approach to every project, focusing on empowering her colleagues and encouraging others to pursue their ambitions. Beyond her corporate strategy work, Maggie is a licensed private pilot who owns and operates a local flight school alongside her husband. They love sharing the freedom of aviation by partnering with EAA Chapter 1165 to provide free flights for children and donating discovery flights to regional charities. “The sky is not the limit,” Maggie says, recalling the advice she would give her younger self. “There is always more you can achieve if you are willing to push past fear and self doubt.” Maggie also stays actively involved in community safety and philanthropy through her work with South Central Kentucky Crime Stoppers and the Med Center Health Foundation, ensuring her hometown remains a supportive place to thrive.
