Bowling Green’s 40 Under 40: Patrick Tyler Jaggers
Story by Amelia Bowen
Tyler Jaggers has spent nearly two decades building a career rooted in hard work, continuous learning and strong local connections. A Greenwood High School graduate who attended Western Kentucky University, Tyler started in the wash bay 20 years ago and worked his way up to Director of Operations at Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac. There, he works alongside his father, a 50 year industry veteran who taught him the value of integrity and trust in business. A graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Academy and an active member of an Automotive 20 Group, Tyler continuously seeks ways to innovate in a fast paced industry while staying true to the dealership’s community roots. Tyler’s journey as a leader is deeply shaped by personal resilience. A leukemia diagnosis ten years ago reshaped his worldview, instilling a profound sense of perspective and accountability. That experience taught him to distinguish life’s “glass balls” from its plastic ones, prioritizing his family, faith and core relationships above all else. Today, he channels that grounded mindset into mentoring his team, leading by example and coaching youth basketball, where he enjoys investing in the next generation. Outside the office, Tyler finds his greatest joy in family life with his wife, Jill, and their two sons, Kip and Miller. Whether golfing, spending time outdoors or staying involved in local initiatives, Tyler remains dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact on the Bowling Green community he calls home.
