Community Leaders in Finance, Insurance & Law: Jeremy Jones
Story by Amelia Bowen
Ask Jeremy Jones what he loves most about Bowling Green and he’ll quickly describe it as “Metro Mayberry,” a growing city that still feels deeply connected at its core. It is that balance of growth and community that has kept him rooted here both personally and professionally throughout his banking career. As a Commercial Lender at American Bank and Trust, Jeremy works closely with local businesses and families to simplify financial decisions and provide solutions tailored to their needs. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, he says his path into banking was influenced early by watching his mother, Jane Jones, work as a loan officer. “She has always supported and pushed me to be better,” Jeremy shares. “I can’t thank her enough for what she has done for me.” Founded in Bowling Green more than 25 years ago, American Bank and Trust remains deeply committed to the local community it serves. Jeremy says one of the best parts of working for the bank is its people-first culture and genuine investment in both employees and customers. Outside of work, Jeremy and his wife, Farrah, spend much of their time cheering on their daughters, Adalynn and Lila, through softball, volleyball and basketball. He also coaches Little League softball and enjoys supporting youth sports throughout the community. As Bowling Green continues to grow, Jeremy hopes it never loses the close-knit spirit that makes it feel like home. His best financial advice is simple: understand your finances, know your cash flow and live within your means.
