Shawn Perry believes the best financial guidance begins long before numbers and investment strategies enter the conversation: it starts with listening, understanding people and building relationships rooted in trust. As a Financial Advisor, Managing Director and Branch Manager at Robert W. Baird & Co Incorporated, Shawn has spent the past 26 years helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most important decisions. Known for his thoughtful, relationship-driven approach, he has developed a loyal client base, earned recognition as one of Baird’s top advisors and received consistent placement on the Forbes Bestin-State Wealth Advisors* list. After graduating with a background in finance and an interest in sales, Shawn entered the investment industry without initially realizing it would become his long-term calling. That changed after meeting mentor Mike Jennings, whose influence helped shape his approach. “He taught me to be an empathetic and curious advisor and to always put the client’s interests first,” Shawn shares. That philosophy continues to guide his work today, alongside Baird’s strong culture of collaboration and genuine care for clients and community. Shawn’s commitment extends well beyond the office. He serves on the board of the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville and supports organizations including HOTEL INC, Hope House and BRASS. A longtime Bowling Green resident, he values the city’s balance of growth and connection, along with the intentional efforts that preserve what makes the community special. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Natalie and their three children, as well as reading, golfing and hunting. As he continues to serve clients across the region, Shawn remains grounded in one guiding principle: creating a balance between planning for the future and fully enjoying the present along the way.
