As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting back on our year. This year alone, we covered nearly 200 community events—large and small—each one a snapshot of Bowling Green at its best. People often ask what sets VIP apart. The answer is simple: we’re locals. We live here, work here and show up to celebrate the good work happening across our city. Whether it’s highlighting important events or sharing incredible stories, our goal is always to shine a light on what makes Bowling Green extraordinary. Thank you to our readers, advertisers, and partners for making that possible.

This issue carries that spirit forward. Our Non-Profit Spotlight highlights organizations moving the needle right here at home—take a few minutes to learn about their work and consider getting involved. You’ll also find our New Year, New You section to kickstart your 2026 goals, plus timely promotions from our advertisers to help you start strong.

Our VIP at Home feature showcases the incredible home of Chad and Catherine Delpont that they have decked the halls of. Their home features 43 trees and some incredible displays! We’re also thrilled to introduce this month’s VIP profile, India Blankenship, who embodies Guarantee Pest Control’s “culture of caring”—from growing a cereal drive to 13,000+ boxes to turning a trunk-or-treat into a citywide event. Her story is a reminder of what’s possible in Bowling Green.

December is packed with events, including the Med Center Charity Ball, Fireman's Ball and countless holiday-themed celebrations. If you’d like to ensure your event is included in VIP Magazine, please request coverage through our website at www.vipbowlinggreen.com, or email allison@vipbowlinggreen.com.

See you next year,

Allison
