Long before Dan Harbison helped shape downtown Bowling Green, he was a local kid taking it all in, holding his mother’s hand at the Capitol Theatre, visiting Pushin’s department store, and guarding every tennis ball on the Reservoir Hill courts like gold. Today, Dan lives on the exact ground where those childhood tennis courts once stood, but his connection to Bowling Green goes far deeper than memories. Over his 40 year career, he has actively invested in the city's expansion through civic leadership and projects like the Bowling Green Ballpark and Stadium Park Plaza. Now, after 35 years with his previous institution, Dan is stepping into a pivotal new role as Regional President at Pinnacle Financial Partners. Those values stem back to his grandmother, who taught him that simple kindness carries the greatest return. “She used to tell me that opening a door for someone and seeing the look on their face is a ‘psychological paycheck,’” Dan recalled.
