Leading Ladies: Rose Hines
Story by Amelia Bowen
Her mission is simple: grow a 36-year family legacy and lead it into the future. As sale sand marketing executive for Print Media, Rose Hines represents the third generation of a Bowling Green business rooted in commercial paper printing. Today, she is focused on expanding into new print technologies, bringing in new clients and strengthening relationships with existing ones alongside her father, Print Media owner Jason Hines. Her transition into the family business was far from linear. After graduating from Greenwood High School unsure of her career path, Rose took a sales role at a local jewelry store selling diamonds. That experience revealed a natural gift for customer connection, eventually drawing her home to Print Media four years ago. Her leadership approach relies heavily on mutual respect. “The business only works and thrives if we are all on the same team supporting one another every day,” Rose says. Outside the office, she prioritizes morning workouts and supports community efforts like United Way and Handbags for Hope. When it comes to career growth, her perspective remains grounded: stop feeling rushed, keep perspective and celebrate the goals you have already achieved.
