At Zimmerman Interiors, design goes far beyond aesthetics. Serving South Central Kentucky, Northern Tennessee and clients nationwide, the full-service studio crafts deeply personal spaces centered around hospitality, function and care. Led by Founder and Principal Designer Katie Zimmerman, the firm offers an integrated approach to new construction, renovations, furnishings and commercial projects alongside Zimmerman Construction, led by her husband, Drew. After two decades as a corporate fashion executive, Katie transitioned her side business into a full-time design firm in 2024. Today, she leads a talented team while preparing to open a new showroom and retail space on Nashville Road near Chaney’s Dairy Barn and South Warren. “My mission is to help people live better by creating beautiful, deeply personal spaces while building a business that supports my community and develops emerging talent,” Katie says. “Creativity sparks the vision, but strategy is what allows you to build something lasting.” Collaborating closely on residential projects is Lead Interior Designer Sierra Kruse. A Defiance, Ohio native and Western Kentucky University Interior Design graduate, Sierra brings creative vision and hands-on expertise to every stage of the process, taking projects from initial floor plans and 3D renderings to final installations. “My mission is to use creativity and design to create spaces that feel meaningful, functional and personal,” Sierra says. “Strong leadership means being someone others can rely on while creating an environment where everyone feels supported and heard.” Rounding out the creative team is Lead Designer Hannah Robinson. A London, Kentucky native and fellow WKU Interior Design alumna, Hannah specializes in new construction and remodeling. She works directly with clients to develop mood boards, construction documents and tailored finish selections, turning initial concepts into cherished homes. “Our goal is to lead with purpose, grow with intention and make a lasting impact through the work we do,” Hannah says. “Leadership is about listening, learning and bringing out the best in those around you.” Together, Katie, Sierra and Hannah bring a rich blend of corporate strategy, technical precision and genuine passion to Bowling Green, creating beautiful spaces where families gather, linger and make lasting memories.
