Bowling Green’s 40 Under 40: Courtney Ingram
Story by Amelia Bowen
Hopkinsville native Courtney Ingram came to Bowling Green as a WKU Hilltopper and quickly made the community her permanent home. Though she studied criminology, Courtney discovered a passion for business leadership at Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, where she thrives as executive assistant after taking a leap of faith to grow within the organization. Courtney balances her professional drive with vibrant local community involvement, serving as a Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, active member of Bowling Green Young Professionals and sister of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys traveling, hosting and nurturing her impressive collection of 60 house plants alongside her beloved 12-year-old Yorkie, Cinnamon. Guided by her grandmother’s wisdom and deep faith, she remains passionate about encouraging local small businesses and creating creative outlets for local youth.
