Bowling Green’s 40 Under 40: Andrew Hayes

From serving in the Army National Guard to selling cars at Gary Force Honda, Auburn native Andrew Hayes built his career around hard work and human connection. Today, as owner and agency principal of the Hayes Agency with Shelter Insurance, he uses that background to protect local families while building a lasting legacy for his wife, Haylee, and their two young daughters. A pivotal lesson from his military service continues to guide his leadership: “People don’t need to be pushed down to get in line,” Andrew reflects. “They need to be lifted up and given a sense of purpose.” Andrew brings that empowering spirit directly to South Central Kentucky. Whether serving as vice president of his BNI chapter, sponsoring local youth sports or purchasing Christmas gifts for foster children, he remains dedicated to strengthening the region his family calls home.
