Bowling Green’s 40 Under 40: Harlan Holmes

Story by Amelia Bowen

New Orleans native turned Bowling Green local Harlan Holmes combines tech and athletics as System Administrator at Graves Gilbert Clinic and founder of Time Team, offering race timing systems for local events. Harlan discovered a vibrant community when he moved to Bowling Green, evolving from a beginner runner into president of the Bowling Green Running Club. Guided by mentorship from local leaders, he learned to use running as a tool to bring people together. Through Time Team and his volunteer work with bg26.2 Marathon and Glory Baby Ministry, Harlan dedicates his time to supporting meaningful causes. Inspired by the encouragement he received early on, he remains passionate about stepping up to new challenges, paying it forward and growing alongside Bowling Green.
