Bowling Green’s 40 Under 40: Jewel Jordan

Story by Amelia Bowen

From helping clients navigate financial milestones to boosting their confidence in her salon chair, Jewel Jordan leads with heart and unwavering determination. As a loan processor at Edmonton State Bank and the owner of Braids by Jewel, Jewel balances two distinct careers anchored by her passion for helping others thrive. Adopted as a baby and losing her adoptive mother at age 13, Jewel developed an early resilience that shapes her inspiring story. She pours that same strength back into her community, serving on her church praise team, donating school supplies and organizing disaster relief efforts. Outside of her business ventures, Jewel and her husband, Jeffrey, focus on creating wonderful adventures for their young daughter, Jenesis. “Everything I do is rooted in growth, service and building a better future,” Jewel says.
