Local Business Spotlight: Booked & Balanced Sheena Wilder

Story by Amelia Bowen

Understanding the story behind the numbers is at the core of what Sheena Wilder does. With nearly two decades of experience in accounting and finance, she has built her business around helping others gain clarity and confidence in their financial position. As the owner of Booked and Balanced, Sheena provides strategic bookkeeping and financial support for small businesses and nonprofits throughout Bowling Green. Her services go beyond record keeping, including monthly reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, KPI tracking and QuickBooks training, along with remote online notary services for added convenience. Sheena’s approach is rooted in partnership. Rather than simply maintaining financial records, she works closely with clients to help them understand their numbers and use that insight to make informed decisions. She primarily works with established small businesses and nonprofits ready to take a more intentional approach to their finances, helping create a clearer path forward through both structure and strategy. A Bowling Green native, Sheena stays connected through her involvement with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, Young Professionals, United Way and Kids on the Block, while also supporting fellow entrepreneurs by sharing financial knowledge and resources. In addition to her work, Sheena serves as a logistics officer in the Kentucky Army National Guard, bringing discipline and leadership into everything she does. Her focus remains consistent: helping business owners feel confident in their numbers and prepared for what comes next.
