Today, under the leadership of owner Jason Wood, that legacy continues to move forward. Jason’s path into the industry began early, working furniture deliveries while attending Western Kentucky University. Over time, that hands-on experience expanded into roles in sales and management, eventually leading to ownership. Having spent more than half his life in the business, he has seen the industry shift while maintaining a clear understanding of what customers value most. Bowling Green Home Furnishings offers a diverse selection of residential and commercial furniture along with home accessories, serving clients across the region. Along the way, the business has expanded to include BG Home Movers, providing both local and long-distance moving services, as well as labor-only options. A recent addition, the Best Home Furnishings Reclining Gallery, offers a dedicated space for customizable, high-quality reclining furniture. Rather than focusing on speed or price alone, the company has become known for delivering long-term value. Customers can expect well-crafted pieces paired with a level of service that prioritizes their needs. Customization plays a central role in that experience, allowing clients to select finishes, fabrics and details that reflect their personal style. Originally from Frankfort, Jason made Bowling Green home during his time at WKU, where he earned a degree in Business Economics. He and his wife, Katrina, have been married for over 20 years and are raising their two daughters here. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the farm, caring for livestock and embracing a different pace of life.
