Whitney McCubbin is the CEO of Whitdogs, a Bowling Green food truck serving delicious hot dogs. She started her company in 2011 as a Junior at WKU. “In 2017, I branched out into the food truck world and started Whitdogs.” She says that without the support of her husband of five years, Alex, she would not be where she is today. “I am a mom to six-month-old twin boys, Easton and Xander. “They keep me on the go, and the amount of joy they bring to me daily is indescribable.”

Whitney uses her business to help out in the community. Whitdogs is a sponsor of the Special Olympics of SOKY and feeds free lunch to all the athletes at the state tournament every year. She also donates the food truck as the kitchen to serve food from at the Junior Achievement Chili Lunch as well as helps prepare for the season at SOKY Ice Rink and runs all the food services there.

From a young age, Whitney knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur. For young women just entering the business world, she says, “If the things we wanted most in life were easy, then they wouldn’t be worth it. Never give up because the amount of time and energy you put into it will eventually be worth it."
