Service One CU Announces Promotions



Two associates were promoted and a third has added responsibilities as the result of a reorganization at Service One Credit Union.  Michelle Dyer was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Mark Floyd was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. Justin Morris Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer added Human Resources and Talent Development to his responsibilities.

“The changes will help us continue to provide excellent service as we grow our membership,” said CEO Rebecca Stone.  All three associates are members of the Service One team who have demonstrated a commitment to serving our members and our community, and it is gratifying to promote associates who have grown their responsibilities within our service-driven culture”, she added.

As Chief Operations Officer, Dyer will oversee those areas of the credit union that serve members directly at the branches and indirectly through member servicing departments. In addition to her responsibilities for branch operations, payments and members solutions, Dyer will also be responsible for Service One’s project management. 

Prior to joining Service One in 2017, Dyer held management positions in Human Resources, working for a national home improvement retailer and a global manufacturing and apparel companies. She graduated from WKU with a BS in Human Resource Management and holds a Masters’ Degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of Louisville. Since 2016 she has also been an adjunct faculty instructor at WKU.

Mark Floyd joined Service One in 2016.  He as more than 20 years’ experience in banking and financial management. His responsibilities include loan sales and loan operations. He is responsible for designing innovative loan programs that meet the needs of Service One members. Floyd graduated from Delta State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Justin Morris, EVP and Chief Financial Officer since 2021, is adding associate recruitment, retention and development to his overall responsibilities. He began working for Service One as a part-time teller in 2005 while pursuing his degree at WKU. He continued his career at Service One while working toward his MBA from WKU and earning his CPA in 2014.
