Mike Sherrod, CEO of TriStar Greenview, Installed as Chair of the KHA Board of Trustees

Mike Sherrod, chief executive officer (CEO) of TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital, has been elected chair of the Kentucky Hospital Association’s (KHA’s) board of trustees. He was installed as board chair May 18, during the KHA’s Annual Convention.

“Everything we do at the hospital begins and ends with the patient, and our primary objective is to optimize their experience,” Sherrod said. “My fellow members of the KHA share that approach, and I am honored to serve both my healthcare colleagues and the people of Kentucky as chair of the KHA board of trustees. I am eager to work with them to affect significant change in the way Kentuckians receive healthcare.” In his role as chair of the KHA board of trustees, Sherrod will preside over board meetings; oversee appointments to task forces, forums and committees, subject to ratification by the board of trustees; and serve as an official representative of the board of trustees.

Sherrod currently serves as CEO of TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The 211-bed hospital serves south central Kentucky through an expansive offering of emergency and specialty services, including emergency care, orthopedic and spine surgery, general surgery, gastroenterology, and interventional cardiology. Sherrod’s two-year term as chair of the KHA board of trustees begins July 1, 2022.
