Meredith Loafman owns My Friend’s Place in Bowling Green. She attended Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky University. “I am a dreamer, a Christian, a mother, and a wife,” she says. “I love going to dinner with my besties and catching up on their lives. I work hard, dream big, and love a lot.” Meredith also supports the Boys and Girls Club, Women’s Fund, and Hope House.

“My first job was for the Inter-Modal Transportation Authority (ITA), where I did my co-op senior year of high school. Our company was responsible for the development of the Transpark,” she says.

As a child, she wanted to be an actress. “I honestly believed I would make it big too!” she says. She wants young women who are entering the workforce to not be discouraged if they end up in a field they never imagined they would “I studied psychology, and here I am in fashion!” she says. “Always go above and beyond what you’re told,” she says. “I’ve had to learn that the hard way, and now being on the other side of it, your hard work is noticed and it does pay off.”
