JA Inspire Virtual Career Fair Will Connect Students and Young Professionals Across Greater Kentucky to Local Employers and Educ

Partnering with the Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass and Junior Achievement of West Kentucky, the virtual career fair will promote work readiness for students and offer a platform for employers to showcase their workforce.

After a whopping success with more than 60 booths available for discovery last year, the JA Inspire Virtual is back for another round. The virtual career and higher education fair will take place from November 16, 2022, through May 16, 2023. The event is open to registrations for 8th - 12th grade students and young professionals ages 18-25 who want to explore their career and higher education options.

The six-month virtual career fair is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about planning their career, exploring their options, and getting in touch with local businesses. The time they spend at JA Inspire Virtual can help them learn more about career cluster focuses, assessing their own skills, and gathering information from local companies.

U.S. Bank is pleased to step up as the primary sponsor for JA Inspire for the second year in a row.  "U.S. Bank is thrilled to continue our Presenting Sponsorship for JA Inspire Virtual," said Darren Woodruff, U.S. Bank Community President and District Manager.  "U.S. Bank and Junior Achievement both value and promote financial literacy and education, and we are natural partners for this greater Kentucky area event.  Our students and young professionals across the commonwealth will benefit greatly from this fair."

Students can get necessary information through the accompanying Student Curriculum to set them up before the event. Students and young adults alike can visit virtual booths from organizations from various industries in the greater KY area, download helpful resources from exhibitors, tune in to expert advice through recorded webinars, and work on developing soft skills and work readiness.

Local businesses from 62 counties can highlight their businesses and open up to a pool of fresh and young talent through the virtual career fair. During last year’s event, more than 27,000 total overall booth visits were conducted, resulting in greater ROI for businesses and sponsors.
“We are thrilled to partner with Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass and Junior Achievement of West Kentucky to offer JA Inspire Virtual to students and young adults alike,” said Allie Sharp, President of Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky.  “JA Inspire Virtual is an effective and simple way to promote your business and institution of higher education to students and young professionals. These participants benefit tremendously from learning about job opportunities that are available today and tomorrow.”

“The JA Inspire Virtual Career Fair is a fantastic platform for young professionals to enhance their skills and set up their own career path. Youth is our future and I am glad to see that the vFairs platform is acting as a technology bridge for such events.” said Muhammad Younas, CEO of vFairs, the hosting company for the online event.
