Hosparus Health Offers Free Volunteer Training Nov. 9 in Bowling Green



Hosparus Health of Barren River needs volunteers in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren counties and will offer a free orientation and training session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST on Friday, Nov. 9 (lunch provided), at its Bowling Green office, 101 Riverwood Ave.

Hosparus Health provides hospice and palliative care to seriously ill patients and their families. Volunteers perform a variety of duties, which may include patient/family support, administrative support, help with community events and fundraising. Hosparus Health volunteers must be in good health, have available transportation and complete an application and full day of training. The organization needs volunteers of all ages and interests.
