Editor's Letter

The September issue of VIP is here and I am so excited to share with you the awesome events and happenings that took place in the last month as well as profiles on 40 incredible people! This month we are spotlighting 40 young innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders who are shaping the future of Bowling Green and have been nominated and chosen for our 40 Under 40. We enjoyed networking together during our photoshoot and having the opportunity to collaborate together - this group has big things in store! To nominate someone for next year’s 40 under 40 follow our Facebook page and be on the lookout next spring.

We are thrilled this year to be The Official Magazine of WKU Athletics! Nothing screams Bowling Green more than WKU Athletics and we are thrilled to bring you even more content from campus news, events and partners in our #GoTOPS section. On the high school level, we have brought you the schedules and team photos for the area football programs, brought to you by Slim Chickens, along with a feature VIP Profile on South Warren High School Football Coach Brandon Smith.

Our VIP Home this month is a gorgeous newly built ‘farmhouse,’ but not like you’d expect!
Architect Nick Sewell, contractor Cory Ellis Construction and designer Tara Coomer, with Coomer & Co., did a phenomenal job on this home!  Throughout the magazine you’ll see people enjoying many outdoor events such as concerts, races and golf scrambles, several back to school Hilltopper events and charity fundraisers of all kinds. If you want to make sure we cover your upcoming event please request event coverage on our website at www.vipbowlinggreen.com or shoot me an email.

Thank you for being a loyal reader of VIP Magazine - Bowling Green’s must-have resource to share all the good news our great town has to offer!

Happy September & GO TOPS!
