Editor's Letter

Thank You Bowling Green!

As I am settling into a new career as Marketing and Communications Officer at Farmers Bank & Trust, I am glad that you have gotten your hands on the August issue, my last issue, of VIP Bowling Green Magazine!

The past, almost, five years of celebrating all the good about our community has been so much fun, mostly because of each of you! I have loved so much going to events, getting to know you around town and being a part of sharing just how great our town is with everyone who picks up a copy of VIP!

VIP Bowling Green Magazine has been, and will always be, the best way for you to read about positive happenings, see what events are upcoming and see what events you want to make sure you don’t miss the next year! Every minute of the past five years with VIP have been so good for my philanthropic heart! I thank each of you for being loyal readers, for submitting great content suggestions and for grabbing an issue each month to take it all in!

I hope that you continue to support VIP Bowling Green as it grows with our fantastic town! As everyone knows, the past eighteen months have been hard, so attending events and supporting small businesses and charities in Bowling Green is more important than it has ever been before. VIP loves being a small part of that by showcasing those charities and small businesses every chance we get.

This transition is so exciting for me, and for VIP! I am proud to introduce you to the new Editor, Angela Reeves. She will be such an asset for our community in this role. I truly believe that her love for Bowling Green alongside her creative skill, will bring you and even bigger and better magazine than ever before!

Thank you all again for your love and support. See you soon, Bowling Green!

I am so excited to join the VIP Bowling Green team and be a part of delivering the good news in our community! Seven years ago, I opened Wild Eggs restaurant and have seen first-hand the support this community has to offer. I look forward to continuing to serve Bowling Green through Wild Eggs and now in my role as Editor with VIP!

The August issue of VIP is here and has so much to offer! We are bringing you an inside look at companies who offer health and beauty products, services and support in our community. Our VIProfile shines the spotlight on business owner Jessica Yonts, with Yonts and Co., and her passion for relationship building and all things creative! Our VIP Home features the beautiful newly built home of local business owners Cory and Lauren Gearlds in Poplar Grove subdivision.

We are so excited to see events come back in full swing. In this issue you will find event coverage from Dream Big Camp’s Celebrity Softball Game, Family Enrichment Center’s Venetian Ball, Kiwanis Club of BG’s Thunderfest, Farmer’s Bank Chamber After Hours, Kids on the Block’s Points for Puppets and so much more.

As always, thank you for being a loyal reader and for welcoming me to the team. We work hard to bring you a magazine which can truly be utilized as more than just a quick read and is a must-have resource for all things Bowling Green!

All the best,
Angela Reeves
