MT VICTOR REVUE

June 2, 2018

CONCERTS IN THE PARK.

Mt. Victor Revue is a Bowling Green, Ky., band that consists of Ernie Small on mandolin and vocals, Chris Durbin on banjo and vocals, Eddie Mills on electric and upright-acoustic bass, Joel Whittinghill on fiddle, Bob Zoellner on accordion and melodica, and Bruce Kessler on guitar and vocals. There is no way to put the Revue into any genre: they play covers from artists like Bob Dylan, Elton John and The Black Keys, and original songs from the various band members, all with a bluegrass slant. Fueled by the diversity and camaraderie of the band members and their love of performing, their shows are always light-hearted and fun.

Mt. Victor Revue has been playing together for about five years and has entertained at the noontime Concert in the Park several times, on the main stage of SKyPAC’s Community Day and at various restaurants and bars around Bowling Green. The band was honored to play the gala dinner of the World Gifted Conference in Louisville, Ky., in 2013 and opened the 2014 President’s Convocation at Western Kentucky University. Mt. Victor Revue was featured in a 2015 episode of WKYU’s Lost River Sessions. Most recently, the band opened the Kentucky Acoustic Music Festival at the historic Capitol Theater in April 2016.
