On Tuesday, February 18, visit the Sloan Convention Center for an evening of fun and make a difference in the lives of your friends and neighbors living here in Warren County.
Every day, 1 out of every 6 adults (and 1 in 5 children) here in Warren County don't know where their next meal is coming from. You can have a night out and at the same time, help provide a meal to those in need. There will be hundreds of beautiful handmade ceramic bowls made by potters, students and volunteers.
Each person attending will get to view all the bowls and select their favorite. Then will be served a delicious meal of soup, bread, drink and desserts donated by area restaurants. Every penny raised at the event is donated to area food pantries to help them get food to those in need, and you get to go home with a beautiful bowl as a reminder that you helped feed someone who would otherwise be facing an empty bowl at meal time.
Note: it is asked that each person may only choose one bowl. All bowls are available on a first come, first served basis.
