KENTUCKY MUSEUM SUMMER CAMP


June 3–14, 2019

The Kentucky Museum is offering two weeks of summer camp in June. Camp is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. The camps are for children ages 6 -12 and are limited to 20 students in each camp.

June 3 - 7 Hand building with clay. Get your hands dirty learning hand building techniques to create functional and decorative pieces. Children will make and glaze pottery which will be fired after camp. Parents will need to pick up their children's pottery at a later date. June 10 - 14 The art of drawing will teach students basic drawing techniques. They will use various drawing instruments like pencil, charcoal, ink and pastel while working on different types of papers and boards.
