21st Annual Stand For Children Day

Story and photography by Magen Estep

Stand for Children Day began in Warren County in 1997 not as a fundraiser but a service and celebration offered to the citizens of our area. The 21st Annual event for Community Education was held at the Bowling Green Ballpark and provided fun activities for children while providing information to families and caregivers about the services available to them in our community. Families, summer camps, and child care centers attended free-of-charge. This safe event is a wonderful way to celebrate the younger members of our community as we take a stand for children. More than fifty vendors (business and organizations) were featured and more than 1,100 attendees attended the 2018 Stand for Children Day.
