South Central KY Crime Stoppers Inc. Eye Opener Breakfast

Story and photography by Angela Reeves

The South Central Kentucky Crime Stoppers Inc held their 2019 Eye Opener Breakfast on March 6th at the Sloan Convention Center. Guest speaker Lieutenant Joe Kenda from Investigation Discovery’s Homicide Hunter, and his wife Kathy, came back for his second year to address the audience of over 1000 attendees. Crime Stopper’s Board President Jennifer Oaks welcomed the audience and Mayor Bruce Wilkerson gave a special presentation at the conclusion of the event, giving Joe Kenda a key to the city. A raffle drawing was held for two firearms and range sessions from sponsor Sherwood’s Guns. Joe and Kathy stayed and signed books and photographs for hundreds of people after the breakfast.
