Run for the Rosies 5K

Story and photography by Jamie Wyatt

Hunt Ford Chrysler presented the Inaugural Run for the Rosies 5k benefitting The Rosie Foundation on September 8 at The Barn at Bethel Grove. Several years ago, Tiffany Barnes Gray was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer that only has a 3% survival rate at 3 years. Not only has she beaten those odds, but it’s her attitude towards life that has touched hearts. Other than God, much of her hope and strength is found in her 4-year-old daughter Rosie! Rosie is a beautiful and lively breath of fresh air and would give anybody the courage to go on! Just as Rosie has given Tiffany strength and purpose, Tiffany’s desire is to share her story and give that same comfort to others. The Rosie Foundation strives to connect with communities and families to help transform their lives the way Tiffany and Rosie have transformed so many around them.
