Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky holds their “coolest” event in Bowling Green each year on the Saturday of the Building Association Home Expo at Sloan Convention Center. Staff, board members, volunteers and supporters all surrounded the pool for an exciting event for a great cause.

The Penguin Plunge involves recruiting individuals and teams from the local community who are willing to raise a minimum donation of $50 to each the right to jump into the chilly waters of an outdoor pool. The event is designed to raise funds and awareness for JA’s programs on money, jobs and business ownership for area students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. For more information on JA’s programs, visit www.ja.org or follow their social media pages.
