Med Center Health Welcomes Nessa Timoney, MD




Med Center Health is proud to welcome Dr. Nessa Timoney to the Medical Center Neuroscience Services team. She joins Narendra Nathoo, MD, PhD, FRCS(C), FACS, and Kimberly Haynes, BSN, MSN, APRN in providing the best neurosurgical care available in our area.

Dr. Timoney has deep connections with her patients. She believes her personalized approach empowers her patients to have a voice in their care. “My main focus is to provide patient centered care that is customized and reflects individual patient needs, values and choices,” says Dr. Timoney. “I am upfront and honest with information so my patients can make informed decisions. I will always give my best effort in applying my skills and experience, as well as advancing and ever-changing technologies, to each patient’s care.”

Dr. Timoney specializes in general neurosurgery and cranial and spine disease. She graduated from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and received her medical degree from the School of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. She completed her residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. With extensive research in Parkinson’s disease and dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Timoney ensures patients have the best possible outcomes, right here.
