Light the Night was a special evening of celebrating cancer survivors and caregivers and remembering those who lost their battle with cancer. The American Cancer Society event took place Friday, October 22nd at Fountain Square. Attendees enjoyed listening to Tej Joshi as emcee as well as special musical performances, including one from the talented Darla Day. It was a night to paint downtown Bowling Green purple! Throughout the event, participants could purchase a luminaria, torch or windchime to take home.

The American Cancer Society strives to fund and conduct research, share expert information, support patients and spread the word about prevention. For more information about the organization, visit cancer.org
