As this year begins to wind down and November is beginning, I have been reflecting on everything this year has brought. I started at the magazine earlier this year, welcomed my second baby and have made some wonderful memories this year. For VIP magazine, November is also a time to be thankful as this month marks the magazine’s seventh year in the Bowling Green community. We are so thankful for all of our readers who have supported the magazine these past seven years, and we hope to have many more to come!
Our VIProfile this month spotlights Steven Dossey, whose family owns Purple Toad Winery. His story highlights the importance of family and following one’s true passion in life. Our VIP at home features the Maurer’s home, which they describe as a mix of modern, organic and industrial. Their attention to every detail really shows through! We are also excited to feature the Lester Home in our All About Home section, which is a beautifully remodeled home by Coomer and Co. In this section you will also find many different local home-related businesses to help you with anything you may need. We have everything from builders, lenders, landscaping, furnishings and everything in between! Be sure to check out this section and support these local businesses who support our community in many different ways.
This month we have included our 2023 Holiday Gift Guide because the start of November means the start of holiday shopping! You’ll find many pages of unique gift items from these businesses and throughout the magazine, many local retailers offering open houses and holiday specials this month. We are proud to support these businesses by shopping local this holiday season!
As always, we have packed our magazine full of event coverage, with 30 events from the last month. If you want to request that we cover your upcoming event please do so on our website at
www.vipbowlinggreen.com or email
[email protected].
We are extra thankful for all of our loyal readers this month, and hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving!
With a grateful heart,
~ Allison
