Editor's Letter

I can hardly believe that it is already November and that we are heading into the holidays, my favorite time of year. The trees are beginning to change and the temperatures are cooling off after a very warm start to Fall in Bowling Green. I hope that each of you take the time to slow down and enjoy the next few months with your friends, families and children.

In this issue, VIP Bowling Green worked closely with local builders and designers to bring you a look inside the 2019 Builders Association Parade of Homes. This section is dedicated to showing you the newest trends in building a custom home, quickly expanding neighborhoods and all of the bright new ideas for lighting, appliances, furniture and design.

Also included this month is our VIP at HOME feature on a beautiful home at Barren River Lake built by Kyle Kirby and designed by Tara Coomer of Coomer & Co Interior Design. At the lake, just a quick trip from Bowling Green, Kyle and Tara worked together with creative minds to construct a unique home with a beautiful lake view. Our VIProfile features J.D. Haase of Ewing Ford Properties and Ment CoWork who gives you all an inside look on how he built his business and what inspires him day to day.

This month’s event coverage brings you a look at the fundraisers, sporting events and celebrations held throughout the month of October. A spotlight on some of the most important annual events that kick off Homecoming week at Western Kentucky University including the Summit Awards, Hall of Distinguishes Alumni and the Chili & Cheese Luncheon and Pep Rally held this year at Montana Grille. Also within this issue, our team brings you event coverage from the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, Orchestra Kentucky, SKYPAC and an exciting announcement from the Bowling Green Hot Rods for Summer 2020.

As always, thank you for being a loyal reader. We work hard to bring you a magazine that can truly be utilized as more than just a quick read. We want to be a must-have resource for all things Bowling Green.

Without your submissions, suggestions and feedback we could never be as comprehensive as we are.

See you in December.
