Editor's Letter

Is it finally Summer? After the months of rain, I am so excited to see the Sunshine and enjoy all that Summer in South Central Kentucky has to offer. Summer is a time of recharge for everyone regardless of your career. The Summer camps, longer days, outdoor activities and time with your families and friends is truly rejuvenating. We should all take the time to refresh and enjoy this time. If you are still looking for activities with your children, hop on our website and look at the Summer Camp directory in our April 2019 issue.

I want to take a minute to thank everyone who came to our first Cover Reveal Party at Ment Cowork when the May issue was released. We plan to continue this each month in the future and hope that you are able to join us.

In this issue, VIP Bowling Green worked closely with an inspiring group of hard working professionals to create a feature section, Money Minders. This section is dedicated to introducing each of you to the faces behind important leaders in our community from banking to insurance or future planning. Each individual we have featured offers something unique and valuable to our community and this section provides a great resource for a variety of needs as they relate to finance.

Also included this month are hundreds of photos from the Top Derby Parties in South Central Kentucky. Whether you chose to spend your day at one of our local country clubs or headed out to a private party with friends, we want to make sure and provide you with the inside look at the greatest hats and best dressed people in Bowling Green on Derby Day.

Other events featured this month include GypsyMoon Marketplace, Griff’s Deli and PopWorks Autism Awareness Event, Cultivate Kindness Be the Light Prom, Red White and Brewfest at WKU and the induction of many of our local alumni to the Hall of Distinguished Alumni at Warren County schools.

As always, I appreciate your love for VIP and hope you enjoy this issue and the rest of your Summer! See you in August!
