Editor's Letter

How has it been a year?

When I started working on the September issue, it hit me. Fall and Football Fashion was the first issue of VIP Bowling Green published with me as the Editor. I grabbed a copy and read back through my first editor’s letter and couldn’t believe how perfect this year has been. With you by my side (or on the other side of the camera) at charity events and throughout the community, VIP has grown each and every issue. I never realized then how much I would enjoy getting to spread my wings in the Bowling Green and learn more about the charities I hadn’t had a chance to be involved in before and meet hundreds of you.

Even as I complete the magazine each month and know what will be on every page, my excitement to share it with each of you the day it hits the racks grows every issue! I have loved the how our growth has allowed us the opportunity to diversify the events that we cover and include even more of you.

When you start flipping through the pages this month, make sure you check out our coverage of Thunderfest, Jake Owen’s Concert at the Bowling Green Ballpark, Duncan Hines Festival, Highland Games and many many more!

The feature this month of Fall Football Fashion brings you an inside look at the fashion trends brought to you by models from local boutiques captured here in our communities. As this fashion raises your excitement for football season, make sure you check out the local football schedules and make it to a game to support our local athletes.

As always, thank you for being a loyal reader. We work hard to bring you a magazine that can truly be utilized as more than just a quick read. We want to be a must-have resource for all things Bowling Green. Without your submissions, suggestions and feedback we could never be as comprehensive as we are.

See you in October.
