While we are living in a world with so much anxiety and uncertainty, we are glad we can bring you the newest issue of VIP where we spotlight local events held prior to shut down, how to continue to support local businesses and restaurants and more.

A special THANK YOU to Donatos, JETS Pizza and TakeOut Waiter of Bowling Green for stepping in and helping us deliver the April issue directly to your homes during this time!

On a positive note, after dealing with rain for months, Spring is here. My team and I share in your excitement for the flowers blooming and sunshine headed our way. We are ready for life  to resume as normal and non-profit events to bring us all back together for the good of our community.

Inside our April issue, our theme focuses on VIP Kids. Within the VIP Kids section, we have an extensive Summer Camp Directory to help you find the best Summer entertainment for your children all while staying local and supporting local businesses, parks and non-profits. While we hope that all of these camps are still scheduled as planned, please check their websites or call them to confirm.

An important part our April issue each year, is our Club Life section. While Spring is the time we are all awaiting the pools to open and the perfect weather for a game of golf, the Club Life section also highlights what else our local clubs have to offer. Our community is proud to have three distinguished country clubs and we hope to show you the distinctive experiences available at each and how to get more information and get involved.

While you are enjoying this issue, I hope that you are also checking out all of the event coverage including Glory Baby Ministry’s Derby Darlins event held downtown at The Charleston and Junior Achievement’s Penguin Plunge held outside of the 2020 Builders Association Home Expo at The Sloan Convention Center.

As always, thank you for being a loyal reader. We work hard to bring you a magazine that can truly be utilized as more than just a quick read. We want to be a must-have resource for all things Bowling Green. Without your submissions, suggestions and feedback we could never be as comprehensive as we are.
