Cooking For Hope

Living Hope Baptist Church hosted the 8th annual Cooking for Hope fundraiser on Thursday, April 19th. Attendees of the fundraiser were offered a buffet-style meal, door prizes, and a silent auction. Local chefs Brie Jones Golliher from Boyce General Store, LLC, Deana York from It’s a Southern Thing Catering, and Steven Bartos from Rian’s Fatted Calf Meat Shoppe also participated in a competition to make meals from food box ingredients. The event raised over 44,000 dollars for Hope House, a non-profit organization that works to decrease poverty through gospel restoration.
