Bowling Green Woman's Club Card Party and Game Day

Story and photography by Jimbob Baird

The gracious ladies of the Bowling Green Women’s Club rallied on Tuesday, January 29, for an enjoyable day of games and card playing. The Card Party and Game Day event included morning and afternoon snacks, refreshments, pastries, with a tasty hot lunch in the Eloise B. Houchens Pineapple Post Tea Room.

The fun gathering included highly competitive card games such as Canasta, Bridge, board games, and of course Dominos. The day’s activities also included party favors, door prizes, and gave the attendees an opportunity to mingle in a harmonious setting. All the fun and excitement was to raise funds for the historic Houchens Center.
